I released a brand new game into the world recently. It’s a short platformer, which (in its current state) takes maybe 15 minutes to play through to completion. It’s a bit buggy – maybe in part because the main character is a bug – and the premise is bizarre at best. It uses free assets from a variety of different places. And those are just a few of its unique selling points!
I’ve been playing the Sims 2 since launch, just about, and over the time I’ve accumulated a heck of a lot of custom content and stuff for the game. Here’s a list of content and mods which I consider essential to the experience.
This site has historically been more of a repository. Like an Age of Empires-style storage pit, I’ve normally chucked content at it just so it’s somewhere permanent. However, in an attempt to make more of a thing of it – and, indeed, to promote the ideals of a 20-year-old World Wide Web – I’m gonna try doing some blogging. Again.

Here’s a character I’ve been working on for a while. I think she’s getting somewhere, but there are some loose ends that want tying up.
I remember our class reading Ted Hughes’ The Iron Man in Year 5 at school. It started with lots of metal body ports forming themselves together into…well, an iron man. I don’t think we ended up finishing it, but the whole thing did seem rather familiar to me at the time.
Picture it: you’re reading a book, or watching a film, and the protagonist gets unceremoniously dumped in the middle of a desert. The likelihood is that they’re wearing entirely inappropriate clothing and have basically no supplies, yet still miraculously survive to fight another day.
The Syndicate could be one of two things, in my mind. Either it’s another small independent faction, similar to Nova Roma, or it’s a legendary group that may or may not exist. A little like the Illuminati or the Bilderberg Group. They are in control.
